When AI goes wrong, three questions follow: is it insured, who pays, and what did it cost to run?

Insurers want proof before they cover AI. Courts want proof before they decide who pays for the harm. Regulators want proof of the energy it burns. sebbi.pro seals every AI decision into Bitcoin, so the proof exists before anyone asks for it.

Insurance

Insurance

Insurance Act 2015

Business insureds must make a fair presentation of the risk (s.3); a breach of warranty suspends cover rather than ending it (s.10); breaching a term unrelated to the actual loss can't defeat the claim (s.11).

With sebbi.pro: A sealed record of what you disclosed and when, and evidence that each AI control was working, decide all three.

Insurance

Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Act 2010

If an insured business becomes insolvent, the person it harmed can claim directly against its insurer.

With sebbi.pro: Sealed incident and decision records travel with the claim, whoever brings it.

Insurance

EU AI Act, Annex III point 5(c)

AI used for risk assessment and pricing of people in life and health insurance is high-risk, with logging and human oversight duties.

With sebbi.pro: Every pricing decision sealed, uncertain ones routed to a person, all of it provable.

Insurance

EIOPA Opinion on AI governance and risk management (August 2025)

Insurers' AI must have data governance, record-keeping, fairness, cyber security, explainability and human oversight, in proportion to the risk.

With sebbi.pro: Record-keeping and oversight evidence produced automatically, checked against the 14 AI insurance controls.

Insurance

FCA ICOBS 6B and the Consumer Duty

Home and motor renewal prices can't exceed the equivalent new-business price, and pricing must give fair value.

With sebbi.pro: Each AI price decision sealed, so price parity and fair value can be shown decision by decision.

Damages

Damages

Negligence and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977

Whoever owes a duty of care and breaches it pays for the loss. Liability for death or injury from negligence can't be excluded (s.2(1)); other caps must be reasonable (s.11).

With sebbi.pro: Proof of what your AI actually did, and that you took reasonable care, is the defence.

Damages

Civil Liability (Contribution) Act 1978

Anyone liable for damage can recover a share from anyone else liable for the same damage, as the court finds just.

With sebbi.pro: Sealed records show whose model, input or decision caused the harm, which decides the split with your supplier.

Damages

UK GDPR Article 82

People can claim compensation for material or non-material damage, including distress, caused by an infringement.

With sebbi.pro: A record of exactly what data each AI decision used, and that the safeguards ran.

Damages

Equality Act 2010, s.136

Once facts suggest discrimination, the burden of proof moves to you.

With sebbi.pro: Records of why every automated decision was made, sealed when it was made, so you can meet that burden.

Damages

Limitation Act 1980, ss.14A and 14B

Latent damage claims can come up to 15 years after the negligent act.

With sebbi.pro: Bitcoin-anchored records still prove themselves in 15 years, with nothing from sebbi.pro.

Damages

Automated and Electric Vehicles Act 2018 and Automated Vehicles Act 2024

The insurer pays first for accidents caused by a self-driving vehicle, then claims against whoever was responsible.

With sebbi.pro: When the machine is driving, the sealed decision log is how responsibility gets settled.

Power and energy

Power

EU AI Act, Article 53 and Annex XI

General-purpose AI model providers document the known or estimated energy consumption of the model.

With sebbi.pro: Seal the figure and its method in an Energy Record, ready for the AI Office.

Power

Energy Efficiency Directive (EU) 2023/1791, Article 12, and Regulation (EU) 2024/1364

EU data centres of 500 kW or more report PUE, water use, renewable share and waste heat every year.

With sebbi.pro: Each year's figures sealed, so a reported figure can never be quietly revised.

Power

SECR and ESOS (UK)

Large and quoted UK companies report energy use and carbon annually (SECR) and audit energy every four years (ESOS).

With sebbi.pro: AI energy captured per request and sealed, so it can be counted in both.

Power

EU green claims rules (Directive (EU) 2024/825) and the CMA Green Claims Code

Environmental claims must be backed by evidence; generic and offset-based neutral claims are banned in the EU.

With sebbi.pro: Every energy claim backed by a sealed Energy Record anyone can check.

Every AI decision sealed, every incident logged, every kilowatt-hour on record. Start free
