How to Report
Follow these steps in order. Start with Step 1 immediately. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 first.
1
Action Fraud — UK's National Fraud Reporting Centre
Call 0300 123 2040 or visit actionfraud.police.uk. Give them the SHA-256 hash above. They will issue a crime reference number — keep it safe.
2
CEOP — Child Exploitation and Online Protection
For grooming or child sexual exploitation, report directly at ceop.police.uk/safety-centre. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CEOP works directly with police to investigate and arrest offenders.
3
Internet Watch Foundation — For Illegal Images
If the incident involved child sexual abuse material, report it at report.iwf.org.uk. The IWF works with police to remove content and prosecute offenders globally.
4
Local Police
For immediate danger call 999. For non-emergency situations call 101. Provide the SHA-256 hash and your crime reference number from Action Fraud.
