What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect to outside tools and data through MCP servers. A server advertises tools (with names, descriptions and inputs), and the AI decides when to call them. It has become the common way to give AI agents real abilities, which is also why the tools an agent can reach need checking.
How it works
- An MCP server lists its tools; the AI reads their descriptions to decide what to call.
- Remote servers are reached by address; local ones run on your machine.
- The official MCP Registry lists public servers. sebbi.pro is on it as pro.sebbi/governance.
- Connect sebbi.pro to any MCP client at sebbi.pro/mcp.
