EU AI Act, Article 14(4)(e): people overseeing a high-risk AI system must be able to "interrupt the system through a 'stop' button or a similar procedure that allows the system to come to a halt in a safe state."
The EU Data Act (Article 36) asks the same of smart contracts, and the algorithmic trading rules (MiFID II RTS 6) ask for a kill function. Without a stop button a person controls, every other control is decoration.

How it works
- You get a switch and a private holder key. Only the holder can stop or release it.
- Your AI checks
https://sebbi.pro/x/jugular/check?id=...before every action. Two lines of code, or one tool call for AI assistants connected to sebbi.pro. - Pull the switch from your phone and every check answers HALTED at once.
- If the check can't be reached, your AI stops too. It fails safe.
- Dead man's grip: set it, and if you don't renew within the hours you chose, the switch halts itself.
- Every pull, release and automatic halt is sealed and timestamped into Bitcoin, with a fact page and a Court Pack.
