Computer said no?
Ask why.

Turned down for a loan, a job, insurance, a flat or an account, and nobody can tell you why? You have a legal right to know if a machine decided, how it decided, and to have a person look at it again. Ask Why writes the request for you in 30 seconds, seals the date so the deadline can't be argued with, and puts the answer on the record.

1

Tell us what happened

Who decided, what they decided, and roughly when.

2

Get your letter

The right law for the UK or the EU, written in your browser. Your name and story never reach us.

3

The clock starts

One month by law. Your tracking page counts it down, and their answer is sealed when it comes.

Who made the decision?

Your details (stay in this browser, never sent to sebbi.pro)

Free. No account. Only the letter's fingerprint, the organisation, the kind of decision and the dates are stored.

Your request is sealed ✓

Save your tracking link now. It is the only key to your request:

Open tracking page

Now send it

Open in my email

Then go to your tracking page and press I've sent it. The one-month clock runs from that day.

Why this works

It's the law

In the UK, Articles 22A to 22D of the UK GDPR (in force since 5 February 2026) give you the right to make representations, get a human to step in and contest a significant decision made solely by a machine. Article 15 lets you ask how it was made. The EU GDPR gives the same core rights.

The date is sealed

The moment you register, a timestamp goes into a public chain that's also anchored to Bitcoin. Nobody can say you asked later than you did.

Their answer is sealed too

If they answer through your secure link, the answer and its time go on the record. If they don't answer, your tracking page writes the complaint to the regulator for you.

Ask Why helps you use your own legal rights. It isn't legal advice. If a lot is at stake, talk to an adviser such as Citizens Advice.
